Privacy Policy

How Qrfast.io handles your data: QR codes are generated entirely in your browser and their contents are never transmitted to or stored on our servers.

Overview

Qrfast.io is a free QR code generator. You do not create an account, log in, or give us any personal information to use it. The QR codes themselves are generated entirely inside your browser using JavaScript, so the content you encode is never transmitted to our servers and there is nothing on our side to store, leak, or hand over.

This policy explains what that means in practice, and what our advertising and analytics providers do collect.

What we do not collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit:

You can verify this yourself: open your browser's developer tools, switch to the Network tab, and generate a code. No request carries your input off the page.

What is processed by third parties

The site is free and supported by advertising, which means two third-party services run on these pages.

Google AdSense

We display ads through Google AdSense. Google and its partner vendors use cookies — including the DoubleClick cookie — to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site and to other sites on the internet.

You can control this:

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate usage — page views, which QR types are most used, roughly where visitors come from. It may set cookies and collect an approximate location, device type and referring page.

This data is never joined to anything you enter into the generator, because that data never reaches a server in the first place. Google's own handling is covered by Google's Privacy Policy.

Cookies

We set no first-party cookies of our own. The only cookies on this site come from Google's advertising and analytics services described above, and from any consent management prompt those services display.

Your browser settings let you block or delete cookies at any time. Blocking them does not affect the generator, which works fully without them.

Consent in the EEA, UK and elsewhere

For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and other regions with comparable rules, our advertising partners present a consent prompt before serving personalised ads or setting non-essential cookies. You may accept, reject, or adjust your preferences, and you can change that choice later. Where consent is not given, only non-personalised ads are shown.

Your rights

Because we hold no personal data about you, there is generally nothing for us to disclose, correct, or delete on request — there is no record with your name on it.

Where data is processed by Google as described above, rights under the UK GDPR, EU GDPR, and similar laws such as the CCPA are exercised through Google's own controls, linked in the sections above. If you are unsure where to direct a request, contact us and we will point you to the right place.

Data retention

We retain nothing you enter. Server access logs, kept for security and troubleshooting, contain standard request information and are not used to build any profile of you.

Children's privacy

Qrfast.io is a general-audience tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since we do not collect personal data at all, none is stored.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Because your input never leaves your device, the most sensitive data involved in using this tool — WiFi passwords, contact details, wallet addresses — is never exposed to interception in transit or to a breach of our systems.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date shown at the top of the page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
